Formed in 1936 Scrap Iron & Steel Safety Group #88 is still going strong approaching its 76th year. There are only three other NYSIF Safety Group Programs older that Safety Group #88. NYSIF Field Service Supervisor, Mary Lou Angarano presents a plaque for this achievement to Chairman, Steven Kowalsky of Empire Recycling, Vice-Chairman, George Stanton of Roth Steel Corp. and Group Manager, Ross Gnesin of GCG Risk Management, Inc. The program continues to grow today and has benefited from loyalty of its members.
